Thank you to everyone who came to participate in Samuel Moore’s fifth event in the 'Masters of the Flamenco Guitar Workshop Series' on Saturday! Samuel really enjoyed exploring the unique musical language of the great Paco de Lucía with so many fine players.

A personal message from Samuel:

“Great job to all those who came to the fifth workshop in my 'Masters of the Flamenco Guitar Workshop Series' . Also, thank you to Flamenco de Leeds for working with me over the past year to organise this unique programme of events! Also, thank you to Jacob Savage for coming to Saturday’s workshop to capture the event on camera. The above photo was taken by Jacob and more will be made available soon.'“

A New Bonus Workshop in August!

Due to the success of the first five events in the 'Masters of the Flamenco Guitar Workshop Series' Samuel has been invited to run an additional bonus workshop on the 24th of August 2019. During this workshop participants will explore with Samuel the unique musical language of: Ramón Montoya (1880 – 1949), Niño Ricardo (1904 – 1972), Diego del Gastor (1908 – 1973), Sabicas (1912 – 1990), and Paco de Lucía (1947 – 2014) in the context of the palo bulerías.

By doing this participants will not only gain many new ideas to help them bring the bulerías to life, but will also gain a much deeper understanding of how bulerías musical language has evolved from the 1920s to the modern day. Don’t miss out, book your tickets today!

All the material covered in the forthcoming workshop has been transcribed by Samuel Moore to a high professional standard directly from original recordings of the maestros. Much of this material is not currently available though printed publications on the commercial market and as such, this bonus workshop is a unique learning opportunity for intermediate to advanced flamenco guitar students.
