I’ve always been picky about equipment, especially music stands. If a stand wobbles, slips, or fights you when you’re trying to set up quickly, it steals your attention away from the one thing that really matters, the music. That’s why I’ve been so impressed with the KraftGeek Music Stand! It’s one of those rare products that immediately feels like an upgrade. It's not just “another stand”, but rather a properly designed, robust, yet light, piece of kit built with the needs of the musician in mind!
Since being sent the KraftGeek Music Stand I've tried it in a number of settings. Hear’s what I learnt!
Rehearsals often move fast. You’re running sections, stopping to make notes, switching pieces, changing the running order, sometimes all four within minutes. The KraftGeek Music Stand makes all this flow effortlessly. It sets up and packs down quickly, adjusts smoothly (you’re never wrestling with stiff parts or awkward joints). Put frankly, it just works and also packs down so compactly that you can easily carry it in one hand!
In performance settings the stand also delivers brilliantly! It's very stable, which matters more than most people realise and notably, it holds music very securely. This is in no small part due to the stand's anti-slip features and transparent clips designed to secure sheet music. Crucially, the stand's modern yet elegant design means that it looks clean and tasteful under stage lights. In short, it never distracts visually from a performance. Notably, the height range is generous, the viewing angle is comfortable, and it's roomy enough to accommodate a lot of sheet music without feeling cramped.
Notably, there’s a certain confidence that comes from knowing your setup is solid. When a stand is steady, reliable and easy to use: your shoulders relax, you read more easily, page turns are less stressful and crucially you stay in the music. That’s probably the best compliment I can give the KraftGeek Music Stand. It supports all the important aspects of a performance, workshop or rehearsal without ever getting in the way! 10/10 on all fronts in my view!
Conclusions. If you’re a guitarist who rehearses regularly and performs often using a music stand, especially in environments where you need: quick setup, easy adjustments, and proper stability, this stand is genuinely worth every penny! It’s professional, reliable, thoughtfully designed, and it’s become a big part of my go-to setup for rehearsals and when leading guitar workshops.
