Charity Concert

Thank you to all those who came to Samuel’s solo flamenco guitar concert on Friday the 10th of November at Christ Church, Ilkley. This event was a fundraiser for Oxfam and Samuel is delighted to announce that the event raised just over £1000 for the charity.

Thank you to all those who came and thank you to the whole Oxfam Ilkley team for organising and facilitating this event.

The day after the concert the Oxfam let Samuel know what they have done with the money that was raised. The £1000 has already gone in some amazing humanitarian projects in crisis zones around the world, specifically:

• Providing clean drinking water for 600 people,

• Funding 2 children to go to school,

• Paying for 3 new wells,

• Paying for 1 new farmyard and its animals,

• Paying for the construction of 3 new toilet facilities.
