In this unique collaboration, flamenco guitarist Samuel Moore and classical guitarist Michael Christian Durrant explore the intriguing links and subtle differences that both connect and set apart the worlds of flamenco and classical guitar.

In concerts, audiences can hear a vivid selection of music by Spanish composers, such as Joaquín Rodrigo, Issac Albéniz and Manuel de Falla, performed alongside music from the flamenco tradition, including palos (musical forms) such as Sevillana, Zorongo and Malagueña. With an inspired combination of both solo and duo performances, this is a concert experience not to be missed.

The ‘Guitar, The Heart of Spain’ project has frequently toured in the UK since 2014, with past tours involving sell-out concerts in venues that include: Ely Cathedral, Winchester Cathedral and the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall in Leeds. In 2019, Samuel and Michael released their first collaborative album, which was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
